What’s the amino acid profile of Autumn’s Protein Powder?Updated 9 days ago
We are super proud of our protein powder because it contains 100% whey protein isolate. This is different from many brands that "cut" whey isolate with a cheaper, lower protein and higher lactose option called whey concentrate. Due to the higher level of impurities in whey concentrate, it can cause GI distress or bloating in some dairy sensitive individuals. To optimize for gut health as well as protein quality, we only use 100% pure whey protein isolate.
Our 100% whey isolate protein powder is a complete protein, however we do not have the specific amino acid profile. We recommend you checkout our blog post on the DIAAS score (a measurement of protein quality) of whey protein isolate as well as other proteins 👉 HERE.
You can also find research showing the levels of leucine (an important amino acid for muscle recovery) that whey generally contains, such as with this 📚 study.
