Is the protein powder dairy-free and good for someone who is lactose intolerant?Updated 9 days ago

We are super proud of our protein powder because it contains 100% whey protein isolate. This is different from many brands that "cut" whey isolate with a cheaper, lower protein and higher lactose option called whey concentrate. Due to the higher level of impurities in whey concentrate, it can cause GI distress or bloating in some dairy sensitive individuals. To optimize for gut health as well as protein quality, we only use 100% pure whey protein isolate.

Whey is a dairy product, so it is not dairy-free. If you are allergic to dairy, then our protein powder is not a good fit for you, as it is a dairy protein.

However, whey isolate contains very little lactose, generally making it a good option for those who are lactose intolerant. We've found that many of our customers who are lactose intolerant do quite well with our whey isolate, even if they weren't able to tolerate other mixed whey proteins in the past.
